What Should I Fix With My Home Before Selling?
When selling your home, the amount of repairs or updates that you may want to consider doing will really greatly depend on the market that you’re in. And there are three examples I’m going to give you that no matter what market that you’re in, you definitely want to either consider doing those repairs or adjusting the price to reflect the repairs that are needed in order to get the home sold.
The Roof
Number one is going to be the roof. If you need a whole new roof, a lot of buyers may walk away from having to take that on because that’s a costly expense.
Mold In The Attic & Basement
Number two is if you have mold in the attic or the basement, that’s another big red flag for a buyer.
Severe Water Damage
And lastly, if you have any severe water damage or issues, that is another thing that some buyers may walk away from.
