What Does A Title Company Do In Michigan?
Here are the top three things you should keep in mind when choosing a title company in Michigan. Number one, you should know that the title company’s job is to make sure that when someone is selling the home and someone is buying that home, is that everything that the seller is responsible for is cleared up for the buyer to legitimately purchase that property.
Number two, you always want to make sure if you are the one buying the home and you’re not paying cash that you want to have your own representation. The seller should have their own title company and the buyer should have their own title company to avoid any conflicts, even though title companies are regulated.
And number three is that if your title company does not do pre-title whether you’re selling or buying a home, it’s really recommended that you do that so that you can make sure you close on time.
