What Is The Difference Between Home Insurance And Home Warranty?
The difference between homeowner’s insurance and a home warranty is that your home warranty is going to typically cover your systems, such as your hot water heater, your furnace, AC unit, and some of your appliances, while your homeowner’s insurance is typically going to cover the structural integrity of your home caused by major events such as natural disasters, burglary, vandalism, and also, of course, your personal property.
But one thing to keep in mind about getting a home warranty is if you’re the type of person who wants something fixed right away, ex. It broke today, you want a fixed day, it may not be what you really want to have a home warranty, but if you’re willing to wait and you want to get some help, getting the right home warranty can be very useful.
