What Is It Called When A Realtor Shows You A House? (Subscribe to Patrice’s YouTube Channel here.)
When a Realtor has set up a private viewing for you to see a home, we call that a showing. And where your Realtor is going to add value for you is answering any questions you may have, pointing out things about the home and the market for this home to help you determine if this is a good decision to move forward with the home.
Any questions they can’t answer they should be going to the listing an agent for to make sure you get all the information you need and advising you and consulting you in terms of if the home is actually worth what they’re asking for. Maybe run a comparable analysis report for this. And then if it’s a home that already has offers on it, they should really be helping you in your decision making to see how you can win that home compared to someone else who’s already written an offer on that home.
And then make sure whoever is showing you the home is the person you really want to work with with this purchase. Because that’s the person who has what we call procuring cause and that’s the person who gets credit for the sale. So if you have any questions, leave comment below. And as always, close with Patrice.
