When many people hire a realtor, they choose a realtor based on what their friend, family member, or coworker has recommended to them. And even though this sounds like it’s the best idea to find a great realtor, the reality is most people don’t buy and sell homes all the time to know what they really should be expecting from a great realtor.

So because the person was nice to them, they communicated well, they felt like that person was a good referral. But because they don’t know all the things that go beyond, you could be getting a really bad realtor. And so it’s best to interview at least one or two other realtors so that way you can compare and get a better sense of who’s a better fit, who’s more professional, and who really cares about me.

Because you could be getting with that referral someone that’s new, and they’re screwing you over by mistake or they’re seasoned, and they’re screwing you over and intentionally and they’re just nice to you.
