If you’re not familiar with the Saddlebrook of Plymouth subdivision in Plymouth, Michigan, then you should know this is a prestigious and small community that is made up of only about 20 homes. What’s really convenient about this subdivision is that you’re only 3 minutes away from the high ranking Salem High School, and you’re also conveniently located by many grocery stores, restaurants, and so much more.
You also have a Pergola that’s in the middle of the subdivision where people can have some events and also sometimes the HOA meetings will be held there. This community, I would say, is best servicing or ideal for someone who is looking to downsize, but they’re really not really downsizing per se. For example, someone that’s used to living in a 10,000 square foot home or even maybe 7000 or 6000 sqft home, it’s going to be very difficult for them to adjust to having a smaller home when they’re used to having maybe a large office and a much bigger bedroom.

The listing I had on 9385 Saddlebrook court kind of gives you the idea of what I’m referring to (as it relates to downsizing to this neighborhood) in the sense that even though it only had three bedrooms, it was just under 3000 sqft, not including the basement.
And so you did have your primary suite. You also had your executive home office and a lot of entertaining in the basement, including your movie theater and wine cellar. So let’s check out a little bit of that so you can see more of what I’m referring to in this gorgeous home.
The executive home office has eight foot red oak leaded glass french doors, and the office is made of primarily grand hardwood. The expansive kitchen has granite countertops, travertine flooring, beautiful brookhaven, soft closing tall cabinets, and pullout drawers with plenty of storage space. The extensive wine cellar in the finished lower level is perfect for a wine connoisseur or a sommelier, with the wine table and numerous slots for your desired wines. The water fountain will make you feel like you’re in a peaceful environment or at a wine vineyard.
Your movie theater will make you feel like you went out to the movies with the sconces along the walls and rope lighting under the floor risers, you have two captain chairs, four folded movie seats, and four bar stools that line the bar height counter.
This was actually one of my favorite listings that I’ve sold in a bidding war situation, mostly because there are so many amenities in this house, whether you’re referring to the movie theater, the wine cellar, the additional kitchen in the lower level, or even just that executive home office, right?
So it was a very unique property that I enjoyed selling. Reality is, people enjoy living in that neighborhood and so there aren’t that many opportunities for homes to become available for sale. But I hope this video helped you a lot to know more about the community.
