President Donald Trump Says He’ll Demand That Interest Rates Drop Immediately

So President Donald Trump has announced that he’s going to demand that the interest rates drop immediately. And that sounds awesome. Everybody would love lower rates.

Obviously, if that impacts the mortgage rates, especially, that would help a lot of us as well. But as we know, interest rates are higher for a reason. The economy needs to get back and make up for all of the deficit that has happened throughout, I would say, the last eight years. And so it makes sense that interest rates are higher, but obviously, we love lower rates. If he can make it happen, that’s great.

But of course, if he can make that happen, then there’s more things that need to make up for later on because we aren’t making up for the debt if the rates go back down.
