What Does Clear To Close Mean?
What does clear to close mean? Well, in a real estate transaction, there’s many processes that you have to get through in order to close on your new home. And you can call these hurdles and all that other stuff, but in reality everyone including the agents, the title company, the lender, the seller and the buyer everyone wants to hear the magic words “clear to close.”
And what that means is that everything has has been accomplished. We are past inspection, past appraisal, past title (we have clear title.) The buyer has done everything you need to do to get the clear to close and therefore you can go ahead and close.
The buyer gets a new home, seller gets their funds, buyer’s agent, seller’s agent and the lender get paid. So if you have any questions, please leave a comment below. Please share with anyone think it’d be helpful to and as always days close with Patrice.
