What Does It Mean To Close In Escrow?
Be sure the realtor or broker you hire to sell your home looks out for your best interest when it’s time to close. Ideally, the closing would take place at a location where the buyer, the seller, the listing agent, the buyer’s agent, and both title representations are there.
That way, when everything is done, the buyer gets the keys and the seller gets their funds.
However, if there’s a split closing, meaning that the buyer and the seller do not close together, then you want to make sure that when you do close in escrow, that the buyer doesn’t get the keys before you get your funds.
So if you have any questions, please leave a comment below. Please share with anyone if you think it would be helpful to and as always, close with Patrice.
